As part of the Azure migration and PAS merger one of our NHS clients is looking for a Test Analyst(s) to join the team for initially 3 months.

These people will ‘close the loop’ on the development cycle – working closely with product owners, business analysts and developers to understand the requirement, co-design testing strategies, and test development outputs against the acceptance criteria, specification and reference architecture.  They will have exceptional attention to detail as well as the ability to very quickly understand new processes.  Expertise in testing methodology, specifically related to data structures and reporting outputs as opposed to software would be useful in this role.  This role will allow developers to continue developing while testing is taking place, and they will also provide assurance that the outputs developed are correct and of high quality before being deployed to the production environment for use by the Trust.

Key skills and experience required;

  • Understanding of NHS data (Essential)
  • Understanding of data warehouse projects (ESSENTIAL)
  • Understanding of and experience working in Agile methodologies (ESSENTIAL)
  • Able to demonstrate track record of excellent communication with product owners, developers and other project stakeholders (ESSENTIAL)
  • Experience testing against acceptance criteria
  • Experience testing against reference architecture
  • Experience testing against existing outputs
  • Experience developing testing strategies and methodology
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Willing to quickly adapt to a fast paced, and changeable agile environment
  • Helps troubleshoot issues
  • Documents results and priorities
  • Holistic view understand impact of issues and bugs raised
  • Help  in creating Acceptance criteria
Interview and start as soon as possible.  Mixture of on site and remote working.

Previous experience of working within the NHS is required for this role.
