Infrastructure Engineer/Analyst required with the following skills & experience:
Basic knowledge of IT standards and systems management methodologies.
Good understanding of Infrastructure:
Advanced knowledge of MS Office.
Knowledge in a range of multiple server operating systems such as MS Server 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019,UNIX, Linux etc. Including their server based roles and features.
Understanding of Client PC Operating Systems such as Windows XP, 7, 8, 10.
SQL Database Administration.
Basic Knowledge of High Availability Solutions including Windows Clustering and load balancing.
Basic knowledge of VMware and virtualisation technologies.
Knowledge of SAN technologies.
Proficiency in maintaining and managing Backup and DR technologies and processes.
Basic scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell, VBScript, Batch etc.
Basic knowledge in enterprise network / wireless solutions and methodologies, including TCP/IP, Routing, VLAN’s, subnets, LACP and STP (MSTP/VSTP).
Fundamental Knowledge of Active Directory
This role will be a 3/2 day blend of onsite/remote working this will be confirmed once someone has been appointed. There will be a requirement to work one week full time alternative weeks on site.
