Systems Support Co-ordinator for a 3 month contract based in Merseyside with travel to other sites.
The ideal candidate will provide support to systems across the client's Partner Organisations (PO’s) which include a range of clinical and non-clinical systems requiring application management, business systems administration where appropriate, data quality and data assurance as applicable to PO’s.
Some of the supported applications are part of the national reference solution offered by the Local Service Provider, other systems have been procured or developed locally and are bespoke to the requirements of the PO.The post holder will work as part of the Information Systems Support Team and will make every endeavour to reduce key person dependencies within the team.
The ideal candidate will have:
a) Experience of working as part of a team involved in Patient Administration Systems
b) Experience supporting Trust wide systems (including clinical systems)
c) Knowledge of NHS data definitions, standards etc and ability to interpret NHS policy and provide advice and guidance
d) Significant knowledge of working practices/areas where clinical systems are used
e) Experience of working within a project using PRINCE2
f) Substantial experience of using Microsoft Office applications and ECDL qualified (or equivalent experience)
You may be required to engage in service
development initiatives, which might require either movement between work sites
or some form of operational flexibility on your part
